Tequila Is Addictive (Live)

Lee Clayton

Stupid Is As Stupid Does.

In L.A., 1973, I stayed up all night snorting cocaine and drinking tequila. I got back to my room at 9 a.m. and started going into shock. I drank 7 Pepsi-Colas to jolt my system. Later that day I wrote “Tequila Is Addictive”. This version was recorded live October 1988 in Oslo, Norway.

We Are the Romans

Lee Clayton

The title says it all.

I wrote this song one day watching the Super Bowl. It reminded me of seeing the Roman Coliseum in the movies. In the natural movement of time, all civilizations rise and fall.

Rock of Love

Freedom

Lee Clayton

A wonderful feeling and knowledge for the spirit.

I wrote this song with the great Irish guitar player Philip Donnelly. We are not necessarily saying that the time for the gathering is now, but that the song is here when the time comes. Perhaps at the rising of the moon.

The Road

Lee Clayton

I left my home disgusted.

A two-month journey of self discovery. The Broadmoor is a classic hotel near Colorado Springs, Colorado. I saw the living Jazz greats at a week-long festival there.
